NC Senate, Incumbent, District 13, Granville & Wake Counties
As a civil rights lawyer for nearly 30 years, and during my first term in the NC Senate, I have seen that we need to make fundamental changes if we want a healthier and more just society. I have worked on some of the most important issues we face, including healthcare, voting rights, economic justice and racial equality. I believe in public service and that we are here to make a difference.

I am a proud homegrown product of Wilson County. After graduation from Wilson County Public Schools and UNC-Chapel Hill, I returned home to serve my community and dedicated to building bridges. NC House, District 32, Granville & Vance Counties
Our community deserves a representative who understands our challenges and has the commitment and innovative ideas to address them. Our district's potential is limitless, but leadership is needed to unlock this potential through sensible and forward-thinking policies, I promise to be that leader, to listen to you, learn from you, and fight for you.
NC House, District 98, Mecklenburg County
Beth Helfrich is a third-generation District 98 native and a proud graduate of the North Mecklenburg IB Program and Davidson College. After fifteen years working as a teacher and senior school administrator, Beth left the classroom in 2020 to launch her own writing company; serve her kids’ local public school as PTO President and a School Improvement Team member; and work part-time for her local, independent bookstore. She is an ardent champion of area nonprofits, small business, public schools and libraries, progressive causes, and cross-sector collaborations.
NC House, District 105, Mecklenburg County
Growing up, I was inspired by my mom, who returned to school to earn a law degree while caring for three young children. Seeing her struggles as a working mom in that era shaped my views of the importance of women in leadership. After practicing law for over a decade, and serving my community in a number of roles, I am excited to have this chance to help break the supermajority. I am running to fight for everyone’s right to live and thrive in North Carolina by protecting women’s reproductive rights, funding our public schools and bringing an end to the efforts to disenfranchise voters through gerrymandering and voting limitations.
NC House, Incumbent, District 115, Buncombe County
I have been an educator in NC public school system, community leader and public servant. I ran for the State House in 2022 to fight for Buncombe County and all who live the mountains and to protect what matters most to working families. In my first term I voted to expand Medicaid, protect voting rights and give every child a sound, basic education. I stood strong against the GOP's extreme 12-week abortion ban, private school voucher expansion and attempts to whitewash social studies curriculum. I am running to keep fighting for good government, quality education, access to healthcare and equality for all.
